Residents and visitors in Tottenham can now access free municipal drinking water at a new bottle fill station at the corner of Mill Street and Queen Street.
Mayor Richard Norcross, Members of Council and Town staff recently gathered to mark the official opening of the station, which is now fully operational and available for public use.
The Town says the project was made possible through the vision, planning and work of its Public Works team, which oversaw the project from concept and design through to installation and operation.
The contactless station allows people to refill reusable water bottles while on the go, providing a convenient way to stay hydrated while helping reduce reliance on single-use plastics.
Residents and visitors are invited to use the new bottle fill station while spending time downtown, visiting local businesses or exploring Tottenham.
