A group of 13 Home Hardware stores owned and operated by Dan and Emily Moulton is helping Ontario students prepare for the new school year by donating 1,200 backpacks filled with essential school supplies.
The annual initiative partners with schools, food banks, youth organizations and community agencies to ensure the backpacks reach students who need them most.
The participating Home Hardware Building Centre and Home Building Centre locations have made the donations a yearly tradition, supporting hundreds of students and families while strengthening partnerships with organizations in the communities they serve.
“We know many local families continue to face financial challenges, and the cost of preparing children for a new school year can add even more pressure,” says Dan Moulton, Dealer-Owner. “We’re proud to support families in the communities we serve and hope these backpacks and school supplies help give local students a positive start to the year.”
This year’s donations are supporting students and families across Ontario through a network of local community organizations, schools and charitable partners.

The partnerships are intended to help remove barriers for hundreds of students and families by providing access to essential school supplies.
