An Alliston resident is facing charges following a child sexual exploitation investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police.
On Thursday, September 10th, the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Alliston. Members of the OPP’s Nottawasaga Detachment and Digital Forensics Unit assisted with the investigation, and several electronic devices were seized.
As a result of the investigation, 58-year-old Kevin Weatherall was arrested and charged.
Weatherall remains in custody pending a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on Friday, September 18th.
