Residents across New Tecumseth are invited to attend local Remembrance Day ceremonies in Alliston, Beeton and Tottenham.
The annual ceremonies, hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion branches in each community, provide an opportunity to remember those who fought for the freedoms Canadians enjoy today, as well as veterans and service members who continue to serve the country.
- Beeton Cenotaph: Sunday, November 8th, at 10:00 a.m.
- Tottenham Legion Parade: Sunday, November 8th, at 10:15 a.m., beginning at the Tottenham Legion
- Alliston Cenotaph: Wednesday, November 11th, at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Alliston Legion Hall
Residents of all ages are encouraged to attend and join their communities in honouring and remembering those who have served.
